Mackenzie Allen Philips' youngest daughter, Missy, has been abducted during a family vacation and evidence that she may have been brutally murdered is found in an abandoned shack deep in the Oregon wilderness. Four years later in the midst of his Great Sadness, Mack receives a suspicious note, apparently from God, inviting him back to that shack for a weekend. Against his better judgment he arrives at the shack on a wintry afternoon and walks back into his darkest nightmare.

Is this the ForeWORD or are we just moving ForeWARD? Or perhaps it is a little of both. I have been amazed at the responses I have received from random people on the book. When I first purchased the book, there were two different strangers raving about it. Then I have had it on my desk at school and have been amazed by the amount of students who have commented on it. Many of them have read it or their parents have/are. I don't know what role fate will play in this book. But I do feel as if I am "supposed" to read this book. So let's move forward :)
